The Orca Dive Center

For 5 years in a row from 2005 to 2009 the Ocra diving center has been winner of the both the prestigious “PADI Environment Award”, which is achieved by protecting the marine environment in a marine protected area, and the “Community Involevement Award” for services provided to the community. This 5 star PADI Instructor Development center is really run by a team of professionals who are passionate about diving and the marine environment.

All excursions to the dive sites within the area are made on a semi-rigid boat which can carry up to 28 people and 2,500 kg of equipment at a time. The boat is also fully equipped with depth sounder, VHF, GPS and an oxygen kit and scuba diving trips are run every day of the year. There are 42 dive sites in total and they range from -10m to a maximum of -40m. All of the dive sites can be found a mere few miles from the coast so long tedious boat rides are not necessary. Snorkelling and hiking can also be organised.
